“Black Artist Burnout” is an ongoing, interactive digital and web‑based project initiated and commissioned by New Museum’s Rhizome, co‐created by Gregory Ketant alongside Moustafa Hassan and Liz Mputu. The project explores the emotional and physical toll of systemic, race‑related stress on Black artists. Through a blend of presentations, digital care‑plan tools, dialogue sessions, and participatory elements, it investigates burnout as a form of trauma—and offers space for healing, resilience, and collective care.
