Ice in the Desert was a 6-track EP produced, written, and created by music artist David Ashley (aka Convertible Ashley). The project culminated in a collaborative body of work featuring graphics for single releases, voiceover, and sound design. The EP emerged from conversations about the detailed cultural, social, and contemporary history of Chicago and the greater Midwest.
